PNB offers various products to its customers which includes electronic fund transfers to make the money transfers convenient, easy and safe for its customers.

PNB NEFT

NEFT is an important mode of money transfer available at PNB. NEFT refers electronic transfer of funds that comes under the purview of the Reserve Bank of India, where you can easily transfer money from one bank account to another. PNB offers its customers the NEFT option through its branch visit, internet banking or mobile banking.

Steps - PNB NEFT Fund Transfer

  • Login to PNB Net Banking portal with  username and password
  • Select  ‘Transactions tab and choose ‘NEFT’
  • Check all necessary details 
  • Click on Submit
  • Enter amount and schedule transfer option for now and later
  • Click ‘Continue’ to check details of the transaction
  • Select account from which fund to be transferred
  • Add beneficiary details like name, account number, IFSC code and amount
  • Click ‘Fund Transfer’
  • Click on Submit

PNB RTGS

RTGS System is a real-time fund transfer from one account to another through RTGS enabled banks. A faster money transfer mechanism than NEFT, this facility is also regulated by the Reserve Bank of India of which PNB is a member.

PNB offers its customers RTGS facility both through offline mode – branch visit or online mode through internet banking or mobile banking.

Steps for RTGS fund transfer - PNB 

  • Login to PNB Net Banking portal with username and password
  • Select the ‘Transactions’ tab and choose ‘RTGS’
  • Check all necessary details 
  • Click Submit
  • Enter amount and schedule transfer option for now and later
  • Click ‘Continue’ to check details of the transaction
  • Select account from which fund to be transferred
  • Add beneficiary details like name, account number, IFSC code and amount
  • Click ‘Fund Transfer’
  • Click Submit

PNB IMPS

IMPS is a real-time fund transfer facility that can be availed by PNB customers for transferring funds from one account to another. The facility is available 24/7 including bank and public holidays. Initially, IMPS was facilitated through mobile phone but now the bank has extended the facility over net banking and ATM.

PNB is one of the leading Indian banks which offer IMPS facility to its customers, which is available to all the bank customers. IMPS facility at PNB is available only on internet banking and mobile banking. NB Immediate Payment Service or IMPS is a real-time fund transfer system from PNB to another bank initially started through mobile phones and is now extended to net banking and ATM. If you want to transfer money through PNB IMPS, you need the recipient's account number and IFSC or Aadhaar number. You can also make payments through IMPS using a Mobile Money Identification Number (MMID) and mobile number.

To avail of this facility, 

  • PNB customers should register their mobile numbers with the bank
  • Customers should get valid MMID linked to their PNB bank account
  • Valid MPIN required to transfer funds 
  • Recipients account number and IFSC code of Aadhar number

Steps to transfer funds via IMPS

IMPS using MMID

  • Log in to the PNB bank portal with username and password  
  • Select the ‘Payments Transfer’ tab
  • Click the ‘Fund Transfer’ tab
  • Click the ‘IMPS Funds Transfer’ tab
  • Click the ‘Person to Person’ tab through MMID
  • Give your MMID and mobile number
  • Enter the amount and confirm the transaction
  • Select ‘Submit’
  • Check details and click ‘Confirm’
  • Authenticate the transaction with OTP received on your registered mobile number

IMPS using IFSC

  • Log in PNB portal and enter your user credentials 
  • Click the “Payments Transfer” tab
  • Select the ‘IMPS Funds Transfer’ tab
  • Select the ‘Funds Transfer’ tab
  • Select ‘Person to Account’ Using IFSC  
  • Select beneficiary details
  • Type the amount and confirm the transaction
  • Click Submit
  • Authenticate the transaction with OTP received on your registered mobile number
