No. Razorpay charges a nominal fee to customers for using its payment gateway. While setting up the Razorpay payment gateway for your online store, merchants can choose from two different plans.

The Razorpay Payment Gateway has two different Plans:

The Standard Plan

This plan is designed for startups, small and medium enterprises. The transaction fees for the payment gateway in this plan are:

  • 2% transaction fee + GST on every transaction made using Indian consumer credit and debit cards, net banking, UPI, and E-wallets like Freecharge, PayLater, Mobikwik, etc.

  • 3% transaction fee + GST on every transaction made using Diners and Amex cards, other international cards, EMI’s (credit, debit and cardless accounts) and business credit cards.

The Enterprise Plan

It is designed for merchants who handle large volumes of transactions on a regular basis. This plan is completely customised, and the pricing depends on individual business needs.

The services offered for each plan is slightly different. For the standard plan, Razorpay offers email, call and chat support and comes with hassle-free, paperless activation. The enterprise plan offers several additional features on top of what’s offered by the standard plan. It includes  early access to new features, 24x7priority support, plan activation within 24 hours, and a dedicated account manager for each individual account.

Besides the nominal transaction charges, there are no other charges like set-up fees or annual maintenance charges. This makes Razorpay a cost-effective option, making it one of the widely used payment gateways in India.
