Google Pay is a payment facilitator through which you can send payments to service providers, users, merchants, and third-parties using your BHIM UPI account, debit card, credit card or any other payment instruments accepted through this app. Similarly, you can also receive payments through the same channels.
There is no exclusive section as Credit Card Bill Payment in the app to allow you pay the credit card bills. However, you can still pay the credit card bill through this app if your credit card issuer allows you to pay it using UPI Code. You must remember that not all credit card issuers provide this facility.
Following are the procedures to pay your credit card bill through Google Pay app.
1. open the Google Pay App
2. Go to ‘New’
3. Click on ‘UPI ID or QR’ icon
4. You can either use UP ID option or Scan QR Code Option
5. Enter your credit card number and verify it
6. Enter the amount you wish to pay
7. Make the payment
The amount will be deducted from your primary account that you have set on the app.
Besides making payment for a credit card bill through Google Pay, you can also add your credit card in the app for making payments to merchants, billers, third-party users, etc.
