How To Change Mobile Number In Aadhaar

If you want to change your mobile number on the Aadhaar card, you can get it updated in UIDAI’s database by visiting an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre. 

Mobile number updation in Aadhaar cannot be done online as per the new changes. Only addresses can be updated online now. To update or change any other information you need to visit an Aadhaar Enrolment centre.

Steps To Change Mobile Number in Aadhaar Card Offline 

Step 1: For Updation, go to the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre

Step 2: Fill out the Aadhaar update/correction form. Do not forget to specify the mobile number

Step 3: Give the fully completed form to the Aadhaar executive

Step 4: Confirm your details by providing your biometrics.

Step 5: Make a payment of Rs. 50 for the service.

Step 6: You will be issued an acknowledgement slip that has the Update request number (URN). The URN can be used to verify the status of your update request. 

Your mobile number will be updated within 30 days in Aadhaar’s database. Documents are not required for this updation. You just need to carry your Aadhaar.
