How to Increase HSBC Credit Card Limit Through Personal Internet Banking?

Step 1:Log into personal internet banking 

Step 2: Choose your credit card from the account summary screen 

Step 3: Click “Manage” on the right side of the screen, then select “Manage card and alerts”. You’ll be redirected to the Credit Cards servicing website.

Step 4: Click on “Menu” then “Manage card” and choose Credit Limit Increase.

Step 5: Follow the instructions shown on the screen to complete your balance transfer.

What Is The Eligibility Criteria For Credit Limit Increase?

  • Update your KYC.
  • Don’t exceed your credit card limit. 
  • The issue date of the credit card should be over 6 months.
  • No modification, i.e. increase or decrease in the credit limit can be done within 6 months.
  • The credit card must be an active one with at least one transaction that has taken place since the time of issue.

What Are The Documents Required For Credit Limit Increase?

For Salaried Employee: 

  • ID proof documents (Passport, government employee ID card, election or voter’s ID, defense ID card, permanent driving license, or PAN card - Either one of these)
  • Recent income tax returns
  • Bank statements of the past three months showing salary credited and pay slips
