Canara Bank credit cardholders can withdraw cash from any ATM in times of emergency. Canara Bank charges a service fee of 3% of the withdrawal amount or Rs.30 per Rs.1000, whichever is higher. 

These charges will reflect in your next billing statement. You can use the card at any ATM to withdraw cash. This allows you to obtain liquid cash in times of emergency. However, the fees associated with a credit card cash withdrawal can pinch your pocket, so you should use it cautiously.

Here are a few points to keep in mind, regarding credit card cash withdrawal charges:

  • Your total cash advance limit is determined based on the type of Canara Bank credit card you hold. Each cardholder's credit and cash limits will be different and will be disclosed on the cardholder's monthly statement.
  • The cash advance limit is less than the card’s credit limit and is part of the overall credit limit. 
  • The available cash limit is the difference between the allotted cash limit and the remaining cash balance on the card at any given time.

You can withdraw up to 50% of your credit limit up to a maximum limit of Rs. 5 lakhs. The cash withdrawal facility is available for both primary cards and add-on cards. Cash withdrawals come with high service charges associate with them. Be cautious about it and withdraw cash only if it is absolutely necessary.
