LIC Cards Services Limited (LIC-CSL) and IDBI Bank recently announced the launch of two new RuPay Credit Cards. These credit cards will be officially known as the LIC CSL 'Eclat' Select Credit Card and 'Lumine' Platinum Credit Card. As per the announcement, these credit cards will allow credit cardholders access to a wide variety of new benefits that are expected to be the best in class.

Only select demographic customers can apply for these newly launched credit cards. LIC policyholders, agents, and employees of LIC India can apply for these credit cards. Employees of LIC’s subsidiaries such as LIC Housing can also apply for the co-branded cards.

LIC Lumine and Eclat credit cardholders will be allowed a credit limit customised to their needs. With every Rs. 100 worth of spend on the Lumine card, a cardholder gets 3 'delight' points. For the Eclat card, cardholders will earn 4 points. The cards come with a validity of 4 years and an interest-free credit period of up to 48 days.

Customers who pay towards the renewal or premium of a LIC insurance policy will receive two times the reward points on these cards.

  • Before applying for a credit card, an applicant should compare different credit card options and opt for a card that meets individual requirements
  • An applicant can download the LIC credit card application online and print it before submitting a filled application at the branch
  • It is important to attach the latest photograph of the applicant on the form and cross-sign it
  • Submit the filled form at a LIC branch along with the necessary documents. Upon applying, a receipt is provided to the applicant. 

How to check my LIC Credit Card Application Status?

Post application and upon approval, the LIC credit card is delivered to the mailing address of the applicant within 21 working days. An applicant can also check the LIC credit card application status by calling the LIC credit card customer care number or by visiting the nearest LIC branch.
