Making LIC payment is easy and convenient; you can make the online payment by just making few easy clicks.
The first step is to log into the LIC website and select your preferred language. After this, you are required to register as a new user by completing the LIC online registration process. If you do not wish to register yourself, you can continue as unregistered user and make the payment.
There are two ways by which you can proceed to make the LIC payment online.

LIC Online Payment Process for Registered Users:

Step 1: Login to the official website of LIC. Select the ‘Customer Portal’ option and then click on the ‘Registered User’ button. After this you’ll be directed to the LIC login page..
At the same time you can click on the ‘Pay Premium Online’ option, which will open a new window and you will see the following two payment options:

A) Pay Direct (Without Login)
B) Through Customer Portal

Now select the ‘Through Customer Portal’ option to proceed.
Step 2: Enter all the required details - your user ID/Email/Mobile, Password, and Date of Birth and click the Sign in button.
You’ll be redirected to the customer portal. You will find ’Self/Policies’ option on this page.
Step 3: To view the details of your policy click on the ‘Self/Policies’ option.
You will be able to see your LIC policy renewal/due date on the same page. You can click and see the ‘Pay Premium’ option if your policy renewal is due.
Step 4: Click the Pay Premium option to proceed and provide the required information.
Choose the payment option. Select your mode of payment - Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking and make the LIC premium payment.
Step 5: You will receive the payment receipts on your registered email.

LIC Online Payment Process for Unregistered User

Step 1: Login to the official website of LIC. Now, select the ‘Pay Premium Online’ option under the ‘Online Services’ tab. This will redirect you to a new window with two options:

1. Pay Direct (Without login)
2. Through Customer Portal

Step 2: Click on the ‘Pay Direct’ button (Without login).
You will be taken to the LIC online premium payments page. Now select the Renewal Premium/ Revival option form the Pay Direct list.
Step 3: Click on the Proceed button to move forward and fill up the Customer Validation form with your policy details - Policy Number, Instalment premium, Email Id, Mobile number and Date of Birth. After this, verify the ‘Captcha’ code, accept the agreement, and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 4: To verify, click on the option ‘I Agree’ and select the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 5: Select your payment option - Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking. Make your LIC online premium payment.
Step 6: You will receive the payment receipts in your registered email. You can download and print the premium payment receipt.
