Benefits of ICICI Credit cards

ICICI credit cards bring you a number of benefits.

  • Credit Period: As soon as your card is activated you get a welcome offer of 48 days free credit – which means no interest for the first 48 days of using your card. You also get a welcome back offer if you have lost your card and a new card is issued.
  • Ease of Payment: The payment is made easier with auto-debit facility. This means you need not worry about settling your dues - it will be done automatically.
  • Revolving Credit: Your credit card is essentially a loan that a bank gives you to make purchases. The bank charges you a fee for loaning you the amount called interest. At the end of each month, when you receive your credit card bill, you can choose to make payment in full or partially. If you choose to make part payment, the amount of interest on the overdue amount gets added to the credit card dues. Interest is charged on this amount from the date of conversion. This is called the revolving credit facility.
  • Temporary credit-limit enhancement: If at any point you need to make a purchase that goes beyond the limit of your credit card, you can call the customer care number and have the limit temporarily extended. The customer care executive will give you all the details of extension depending on the type of card you hold and your credit status.
  • Online Shopping: ICICI facilitates online shopping both domestic and international. You can use your credit card to make purchases on the website of all domestic online retailers as well as a few international retailers.
  • Fuel Surcharge Waiver: Through ICICI Bank Platinum Credit Card, you will enjoy a 2.5% surcharge waiver each time you purchase fuel. This is subject to a maximum transaction value of Rs.4000 per transaction.
  • Complimentary access to Airport and Railway Lounges: ICICI Bank customers can indulge in the convenience of access to airport and railway lounges across India. No more sweltering heat while you wait for your plane or train.
