Punjab & Sind Bank Debit Card

A debit card is also known as plastic money. It is directed linked to the cardholder’s savings or current account. So, when a purchase is made, money is debited from one’s account instantly. It is used with a PIN (Personal Identification Number) to make transactions safer and more secure. RuPay Classic Debit Card

Punjab & Sind Bank issues the RuPay Classic Debit Card to all customers who have either savings, overdraft or current account types.

RuPay PMJDY Card

Punjab & Sind Bank issues the RuPay PMJDY Card for customers under Financial Inclusion under the PMJDY (Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana) scheme. This is a classic variant of the debit card and is issued only to customers under the Financial Inclusion scheme.

RuPay PUNGRAIN Arhtia Card

Punjab & Sind Bank issues the RuPay PUNGRAIN Arhtia Card which is another variant of the RuPay Debit Card and has its features. It is issued to the Arhtias in the state of Punjab that are registered under Punjab Grain Corporation (PUNGRAIN). These cards are issued for CC & CA accounts only.

RuPay PUNGRAIN Miller Card

Punjab & Sind Bank issues the RuPay PUNGRAIN Miller Card is a variant of the RuPay Debit card and has features that are similar to the RuPay PUNGRAIN Arhtia Card. But this card is issued to the Millers in the state of Punjab who are registered under the Punjab Grain Corporation (PUNGRAIN). These cards are issued for CC & CA accounts only.

RuPay MUDRA Card

Punjab & Sind Bank offers the RuPay MUDRA Card to provide credit to the borrower in the form of cash credit/overdraft which is operated through this card. It is for small or micro units that are outside the banking fold. MUDRA stands for Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency. This card is issued only under this scheme.

Master Debit Cards

Punjab & Sind Bank offers the Master Debit Card in a classic variant. This card can be used internationally at ATMs or POS networks. It can be provided to any customer who has a savings or current account.

Eligibility

  • All customers, minors and illiterates are eligible to apply for the debit cards.
  • Customers who have saving accounts with cheque book facility or current accounts or over draft accounts are eligible for debit cards.
  • If there are joint accounts, then the debit card is issued to a single customer operating the account
  • Only one card is issued for this account.

Types of Debit Cards

  • Non-personalized cards
  • These cards are immediately issued to the customer as his/her name is not embossed on it. The customer needs to apply for this type of card and request for activation through the branch. It comes along with a welcome kit for the customer.

  • Personalized Debit Cards
  • These cards have the cardholder’s name embossed on the face of the card. The PIN and the card are issued separately and dispatched.

    Limits

    The cardholder can withdraw up to Rs,25,000/- per day at ATMs. The cardholder has a separate daily limit of Rs.1,00,000/- for POS and E-Commerce transactions.
