To drive a vehicle legally on the roads, an Indian driving license is mandatory. However, to obtain a driving license there is a separate process to it and the license is not received right away.
An individual wanting to drive any type of motor vehicle in India has to get their learning license first. A learner’s license is required for learning. Step 2: Log into your account by entering your Aadhar number, username or mobile number

Your Driving License must be up to date and if not, you should apply for renewal and can even apply in the grace period for such renewal. You are required to pay a higher fee if not renewed within the grace period, which is 30 days after your license expires. An application for renewal shall be entertained not more than a month after the date of expiry of the license. However, if more than 5 years have elapsed since the expiry of a license, the applicant is required to undergo all the formalities for obtaining a fresh license.
