SBI Banking and Financial Services Fund is an open-ended scheme that aims to provide investors with opportunities for long-term wealth appreciation by predominantly investing in equity and equity-related securities of companies engaged in banking and financial services sector.

A minimum of 80% of the principal is invested in stocks of companies engaged in banking and financial services sector by the scheme. The SBI Banking and Financial Services Fund scheme has the flexibility to invest up to 20% in equities other than companies engaged in banking and financial services and/or debt and money market instruments.
