Features and Services offered by ICICI Net Banking

The services offered by ICICI have a huge range from funds transfer to bill payments to access to the user’s account and activity and much more. The bank has more than 300 services to offer to its customers via its net banking service and it provides a shortcut or widget mode of the favorite service used or preferred by the user according to his/her activity log or as opted by them.

Transfer of funds

The bank allows transfer of funds to the person’s own account with the bank or to another account with some other bank. These transfers can be done via NEFT/RTGS/IMPS. The bank also allows the user to get cardless cash withdrawal or receive funds, send smart money orders or donate online.

Payee Management

The net banking feature allows the user to add payees to his/her account. These payees can be from the ICICI Bank or any other bank.

The payees could also be a cardless cash withdrawal payee and can be confirmed using URN.

The other payees can also be confirmed using the URN and the user can also view the registered payees via URN.

Bill Payments and Recharge

The bank allows the user to pay various bills and Visa Credit card bills of any other bank, get payment intimations of pending bills, schedule payments on auto payment mode as well as view or modify or delete the registered billers.

The net banking facility of the bank also allows the user to make recharge payments like recharging prepaid mobiles, DTH connection, data card.

Profile related tasks

The bank allows the user to carry out various ancillary tasks as well relating to the user’s profile like updating/changing the password to the net banking account, personalizing transaction limits, setting up of favorite activities or accounts or a primary account in case of multiple accounts with the bank.

Deposits

The net banking facility also allows the user to set up new deposits (fixed or recurring), open a PPF account, get FD advice and other ancillary services related to such accounts.

  • The user can apply for various government schemes that the bank is authorized to be part of like the Atal pension Yojana,Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana
  • Other ancillary services include viewing the mini statements or detailed statements of the account or e-statements of credit card, demat account, etc. the user can also create pocket cards and view the details regarding the same or add funds to these pocket cards.
  • The user can open a demat account with the net banking of the bank as well as view the transaction details or personal details, bill details, settlement calendar or other related services to the demat accounts.
  • The net banking account of the user can also be used to make various investments online as well as get various insurances like Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Travel Insurance, Car Insurance, etc.

How Do I Register For ICICI Bank NetBanking?

Step 1: Visit the official website of ICICI Netbanking portal at https://www.icicibank.com/Personal-Banking/insta-banking/internet-banking/index.page

Step 2: Click on the Login seen next to the piece of text ‘Personal Banking.’

Step 3: Click Get User ID to initiate the registration process.

Step 4: Enter the bank account number and the mobile number registered with the account before clicking ‘GO’.

Step 5: A user Id will be generated for your account, and it will be displayed on your screen.

Step 6: Now, visit the login page again and click ‘Generate Password’.

Step 7: In the next screen, click on click here to proceed.

Step 8: Enter the User ID and click Go.

Step 9: Key in the registered mobile number for the account to get the OTP.

You can access all of ICICI bank's netbanking services from the comfort of your home through its netbanking portal. Transfer of funds through ICICI Net banking account

The user can transfer funds or receive funds through the net banking account between his/her own accounts within the bank or between third party accounts or outside the bank. The user can transfer these funds via the RTGS/ NEFT/IMPS mode offered by the bank upon adding the beneficiary. After adding the beneficiary, the said account will be activated in a set period of time (usually 30 minutes) following which transfer of funds can be effected subject to the transaction limit set by the bank.   • The user can begin the process of transfer of funds by logging in to their net banking portal and then click on the ‘Funds Transfer’ option which is under the ‘Payments & Transfer’ tab.
  • The user will be given a set of options on the next page and must select the relevant option as required by the user followed by clicking on ‘Transfer Now’.
  • The user will then have to fill in the details of the transferee account and the account to which the funds have to be transferred along with the amount to be transferred and the details of the date of transfer and transfer type and then click on ‘next’.
  • The user will then have to authentic the transfer via debit card and click on ‘Submit’
  • After the authentication of the transaction via an OTP, the transfer will be effected.
