Andhra Bank is one of the oldest banks of the country having a huge customer base. Internet banking is among the most common and the most crucial service offered by any bank in today’s modern world. The start of internet banking has practically brought the whole bank at the customer’s home or office where he/she can carry out their banking transactions without any unnecessary wastage of time and energy that would have been otherwise spent in the long bank queues with token numbers.
This service is available free of charge to all its existing retail and corporate customers. The user will require a unique user id and a corresponding password set by them to access the net banking facility of the bank and avail its benefits.

1. What is the prerequisite for opening a net banking account with the bank?
The net banking account can be opened by all the existing customers of the bank so the pre-requisite for opening a net banking account with Andhra Bank is having a savings/current account with any of the branches of the bank.
2. Will the user be required to generate a new user id and password for their Andhra Bank net banking account post its merger with Union Bank of India and Corporation Bank?
The existing net banking account holders of the bank can continue with the same user id and password even after its merger with Union bank of India and Corporation Bank.

Andhra Bank Net Banking now allows the user to open Demat accounts and manage them though the bank’s net banking portal.
4. How much time does it take to update a beneficiary to the net banking account?
The user can add a beneficiary to his/her net banking account authenticating it via an OTP to the registered mobile number which can be activated within 3 hours of adding the new beneficiary to the net banking account.
