Bank of Baroda Net Banking is known as Baroda Connect. The net banking service of the bank is classified into two divisions, namely, for retail customers and for corporate customers. The customers are required to download the application form for internet banking according to the above category of customers.

The retail customers are all the individual account holders of the bank having whether savings account or current account with the bank. These customers have to download the retail form for applying to the internet banking facility of the bank.

Corporate customers are all the non-individual customers of the bank like the Trusts, HUFs, Sole Proprietary, Partnership firms, Companies, and so on. These customers have to download the corporate form for applying to the internet banking facility of the bank.

The customers have to fill the form and it has to be duly signed by all the parties involved (in case of joint account or partnership firm or company) and submit it at the branch where the customer has his/her account with the bank.

The user id for logging into the net banking account is sent via registered post and email to both the retail as well as corporate customers and the password can be collected by the corporate customers from the issuing branch of the bank. For retail customers, the password can be generated online without having the need to visit the issuing branch of the bank. Retail users can also set their password using their debit cards allotted by the bank.   • The bank allows the user to view the summarized version of the account statements on a monthly basis or for any particular period of time.
  • The net banking allows the users to view their account/transaction history in a detailed manner as against the summarized version of the account.
  • It also allows the user to access multiple accounts of the user like the loans availed, a fixed or recurring deposit of the user by single user id, or customer id.
  • The user can view as well as download the account statements of the account for any period or between particular periods.

  • The net banking portal of the bank also allows the user to subscribe to the various IPOs or rights issues available from time to time.
  • The user can also avail of various banking-related services like apply for a fresh checkbook or stop payment of any cheques issued via net banking.
  • The net banking portal also facilitates the payment of direct or indirect taxes as well as view the FORM 26AS online.
  • The user can also make various online request like,
    • Editing personal details (email ID, mobile number, postal address)
    • Generation of TDS certificates or interest certificates of savings bank, overdrafts, loans, term deposits, etc.
    • Perform various DEMAT transactions via access to e-trade

  • Bank of Baroda is one of the authorized banks to issue Sovereign Gold Bonds issued by the Reserve Bank of India on behalf of the Government of India. Customers can purchase or subscribe for these bonds via net banking.
  • Baroda Connect allows the customer to protect their net banking account with personalized authentication via their Digital Signature Authentication mode.
  • The users can also update/add/delete nominees for their deposits or PPF or any other similar accounts.

1. What are the charges for availing the BOB net banking facility?

The net banking facility of the bank ‘Baroda Connect’ is available mostly at zero additional charges. The customer, however, may have to incur charges for specific requests like the stop payment of any cheque or cheque book charges.

2. How many times can a person change the password to the net banking facility?

A person can change the password to their net banking account multiple times without any additional charges.

3. Can a person use the same user id or customer id for multiple accounts held with the bank?

A person can use the same user id or customer id to login to the savings bank or current bank account held by the person as well as other linked accounts like the loan account, demat account, fixed or recurring deposits held with the bank, etc.

4. Is the net banking facility available to outsiders i.e. persons who do not have an account with the bank?

No. The Net banking facility Baroda Connect of the bank is available only to the existing customers of the bank i.e. those who already have a savings or current account with the bank.

5. How can a person reset the password if he/she has forgotten the same at the time of logging in to the net banking account?

A person who has forgotten their net banking password can rest the same through the following steps.

  • The person has to visit the net banking page of Bank of Baroda click on ‘Retail User’ enter the User ID and then click on ‘Enter’.
  • The user will be directed to the login page where the details of login (User ID and Password) have to be provided and then the user has to click on ‘Forgot Sign in Password? Click Here”.
  • The next page will direct the user to answer the security questions which have been previously set by the user at the time of net banking registration.
  • Upon answering them correctly, the user has to click on ‘Submit’ and he/she will then be directed to the next page which will require him/her to enter the registered mobile number associated with the net banking account thereafter click on ‘Submit’.
  • The user will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number which has to be submitted in the required area.
  • The user will then be taken to the page to enter the new password which will have to be entered twice to be confirmed and then submitted.
  • Upon confirmation or successful receipt of the new password by the system, the user will get the confirmation of the same on the display screen and can use the user id and the newly reset password to login to the net banking account.
