The customers who hold a savings bank account, current bank account or any other active account as per the guidelines of the bank are eligible for net banking. The net banking services of the bank is a secure portal that allows them to carry out banking transactions without any need to physically visit the branch of the bank.

What is the process of registration for Mahaconnect?

Bank of Maharashtra requires the account holders to register for the net banking services of the bank through an offline mode. This offline mode of registration is applicable for retail customers as well as corporate customers. The steps for application to the Mahaconnect portal are mentioned below.

  • Visit the website of the bank
  • Click on the following link to get the form for internet banking Home>> Personal banking>> Digital banking>> Internet banking>> How to Apply for Mahaconnect?
  • Customers will get the link to download the application form for Mahaconnect services of the bank (alternatively, customers can also get the form by visiting the home branch and getting the form directly from there).
  • The next step is to click on the required category of the application form (whether for retail customers or corporate customers)
  • This form has to be duly filled and submitted at the branch of the bank for further processing.
  • After the form is verified and approved, the account holder will receive a user id, login password and a transaction password which can be used to log in to the Mahaconnect portal of the bank.
  • Before connecting to the internet banking portal, the users will have to activate the user id provided by the bank. A. No. The inwards funds transfer through NEFT or RTGS is free of charge.

A. Yes the charges for outwards funds transfer through RTGS through digital banking are RS. Rs. 5 per transaction for transfer from Rs. 2,00,000 to Rs. 5,00,000 and Rs. 10 per transaction for transfer above Rs. 5,00,000

5. Are the customers required to use the Mahasecure portal for net banking services of the bank?
