Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India, more popularly known as ICICI, is a private sector bank in India and among the top four private banks in the country. It has a huge domestic as well as global presence with subsidiaries and representative offices in many countries across the world. The bank has many products and services like insurance, credit, loans, deposits, savings schemes, NRI banking, internet and mobile banking among others for its retail and the corporate customers all over the world. Internet banking service offered by ICICI bank is available 24x7 and has enabled it to serve its millions of customers across the globe with much ease and efficiency anytime and anywhere.
The services offered by ICICI have a huge range from funds transfer to bill payments to access to the user’s account and activity and much more. The bank has more than 300 services to offer to its customers via its net banking service and it provides a shortcut or widget mode of the favorite service used or preferred by the user according to his/her activity log or as opted by them.
This widget will provide the user with a consolidated position of the user’s bank account, credit card, loans, or his/her banking relationship. The widget mode will also enable the user to view his favorite accounts (accounts that are frequently used by the user for transfer or payments) and carry out the required fund transfer or quick pay or recharge without going to the respective page for the same.

Dashboard features
The user can get the details of his/her profile, customize shortcuts, or generate card PIN and much more using the dashboard option. The bank offers a series of features depending on the account type and segment of the account. Some of the examples of these features are,
Transfer of funds
The bank allows transfer of funds to the person’s own account with the bank or to another account with some other bank. These transfers can be done via NEFT/RTGS or through IMPS. The bank also allows the user to get cardless cash withdrawal or receive funds, send smart money orders or donate online.
Payee Management
The net banking feature allows the user to add payees to his/her account. These payees can be from the ICICI Bank or any other bank.
The payees could also be a cardless cash withdrawal payee and can be confirmed using URN.
The other payees can also be confirmed using the URN and the user can also view the registered payees via URN.
Bill Payments and Recharge
The bank allows the user to pay various bills and Visa Credit card bills of any other bank, get payment intimations of pending bills, schedule payments on auto payment mode as well as view or modify or delete the registered billers.
The net banking facility of the bank also allows the user to make recharge payments like recharging prepaid mobiles, DTH connection, data card.
Profile related tasks
The bank allows the user to carry out various ancillary tasks as well relating to the user’s profile like updating/changing the password to the net banking account, personalizing transaction limits, setting up of favorite activities or accounts or a primary account in case of multiple accounts with the bank.
Deposits
The net banking facility also allows the user to set up new deposits (fixed or recurring), open a PPF account, get FD advice and other ancillary services related to such accounts.
The other services offered on the bank’s net banking facility include e-locker, quick shopping, applying for gift card, forex related services, register for digital signature certificate and much more, the detailed list of which can be obtained at the bank’s website.

The user can transfer funds or receive funds through the net banking account between his/her own accounts within the bank or between third party accounts or outside the bank. The user can transfer these funds via the RTGS/ NEFT/IMPS mode offered by the bank up on adding the beneficiary. After adding the beneficiary, the said account will be activated in a set period of time (usually 30 minutes) following which transfer of funds can be effected subject to the transaction limit set by the bank. The customers can also call on the general number 1800 200 3344 between 9 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday to register their complaints or grievances. The customers have to provide a service request number which is not more than 2 months old in order to process their grievance or complaint.

1. Can the user ask for any assistance regarding their net banking user id or login process from the customer care of the bank?
The user can visit the nearest branch of the bank or contact the bank through their customer service for any assistance regarding their net banking account or login process.
2. Can a person pay his/her non-ICICI credit card through the bank’s net banking portal?
The net banking facility of ICICI, allows the user to pay the credit card dues of any non-ICICI Visa credit card.
3. Is the user allowed to have more than one user id for the net banking account?
Every net banking account of the bank can have only one corresponding user id registered to the said account. Multiple user ids for the same account are not allowed.
4. Can the customer book railway tickets or airplane tickets via ICICI net banking?
ICICI net banking can be used for booking railway or airline tickets for the user or on any other person’s behalf.
5. Can the user view/get the details of all the transactions made during a particular period in his/her net banking account?
The net banking account of the user enables him/her to get a detailed or consolidated view of all the transactions made by the user during a selected period or on a monthly basis.
