Introduction

IndusInd Bank is a relatively new bank as compared to many other traditional banks in the country that are almost 100 years old. Despite this fact, the bank has a huge customer base and an extensive network of branches and ATMs servicing its customers. The Bank also has a dedicated net banking system that the customers can use and is available 24x7.

The Net Banking system of IndusInd Bank is known as IndusNet and is available to all the customers of the bank in order to get the account details or transaction details, pay various utility bills and various other payments, update/delete/add the user’s information.

The details of the bank’s net banking account are provided below.

IndusNet Registration or Login

Indusind Bank Net Banking

IndusNet login or access to the bank’s net banking facility is available to all the customers of the bank. In other words, IndusNet facility is not available to any person who is not already a customer of the bank. The process of registering with the bank’s net banking facility is detailed as below.

  • By going to the bank’s website (www[dot]indusind[dot]com) and then click on the link ‘Continue to IndusNet’ which will take the user to the login page where the user will have to enter the debit card or ATM card details in order to register with the bank’s net banking facility.
  • The customer can also call the customer care of the bank at their toll free number 1860 267 7777.
  • The customers can visit the branch of the bank as well to register with the bank’s net banking facility.

The user can login to IndusNet by any of the following methods.

Login using Password

  • The user has to enter the user id and password allotted at the time of registration
  • The user has to then choose from the available options to login (Accounts Summary, Funds Transfer and Service Requests) and then select the button ‘sign in’ to login to the account.

Login using IndusMobile

  • The user has to enter the username (Customer Id, Credit card Number or the User Id) selected by the user at the time of online registration.
  • The user has to again choose from the options available as in the first method and then select the button to ‘sign in’ to IndusNet.

Features and services offered by IndusInd Bank

The customers can make use of the various services offered by the bank. Some of the examples of such services are mentioned below.

  • The customers can check the accounts summary, transaction history, view/download/print monthly account statements, view the details of the cheques issued as well as the debit card details.
  • The user can transfer/receive funds from their own account or from a third party from within the bank or from any other bank via NEFT/RTGS or scheduled transfers.
  • Manage beneficiaries to the net banking account (add/modify/delete)
  • Pay various utility bills, internet or cable charges, register for alerts with respect to upcoming payments, online shopping bills, view payment history or set instant and auto payments.
  • The user can also make various requests from their net banking account regarding their normal banking transactions like
    • issue of new cheque books, 
    • notifying for lost or stolen debit/credit/ATM cards
    • requesting a demand draft or opening of any fixed deposits or recurring deposits
    • getting account statement
    • registration for mobile alerts
    • notifying change in contact details of the user
    • redeeming the reward points 
    • requesting for activation of debit card
    • the user can also group all the customer ids of the user under a single login
  • The user can review the mutual fund investments
  • The bank’s net banking facility also enables the payment of insurance premiums of the user
  • The user can also view the forex rates and their demat account details as well as the details of the loans availed with the bank.
  • IndusInd also provides for high security of the account by means of OTP to authenticate the transactions or any requests given by the user.

Resetting the password to IndusInd Account

The user can reset the password to his/her IndusInd account or the net banking account of the bank multiple times by authenticating it via the following process.

  • The user has to first login to their net banking account.
  • Then click on the option ‘online preference’ available at the top of the dashboard.
  • The user has to then select the option ‘reset transaction password’ available to reset the password.
  • The user will have to enter the current password as well as the new password and reconfirm the same before submitting the request for the same.
  • The user can then login to the IndusInd Bank using the user id and the newly reset password.

FAQs

1. What is the eligibility to open a net banking account with the bank?

All the existing customers of the bank having either a savings account or a current account with the bank are allowed to open a net banking account with IndusInd bank.

2. How many incorrect attempts is a person allowed before the net banking account of that person is locked?

The net banking facility of the bank allows the user a maximum of 3 attempts for a valid login. If the user cannot successfully login in these 3 attempts then the net banking account of the user is locked to secure it against unauthorized login.

3. Can a person pay for all the utilities through the IndusNet?

IndusNet allows the user to pay for all the utilities like electricity, water, gas and many more other payments like cable/internet charges, online shopping, etc.

4. Can a person view the transaction details of his/her loan account through the same login?

IndusInd Bank allows the user to view all the accounts held by him/her like Loan accounts, fixed deposit accounts, etc. under a single login available at the time of registration with the bank’s net banking portal.

5. Is there a fund transfer limit for transferring funds through RTGS?

The user is allowed a fund transfer up to a maximum of Rs. 2,00,000 via RTGS available on IndusNet.
