Corona Kavach Policy

This plan is an indemnity based health insurance plan. It covers the cost of hospitalization (provided the hospitalization is for a minimum period of 24 hours), home treatment for Covid 19, AYUSH treatment up to Rs. 5,00,000. The eligibility for these plans is from 18 years to 65 years and is available in individual and family floater plans. The minimum sum assured is Rs, 50,000 and the maximum sum assured is 5,00,000. The plan offers a discount of 5% on premium for the health care workers and doctors. The cost of PPE kits, gloves, masks, ventilators, oxygen cylinders is also compensated under this plan.

Corona Rakshak Policy

This is another form of health insurance policy that is available for the residents of Jamshedpur. Under this policy, the individual is paid the lump sum amount under the policy for hospitalization of minimum of 72 years. The period of the policy is usually between 3.5 months to 9.5 months. The sum assured ranges from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 2,50,000. The plan offers a discount of 5% on premium for the health care workers and doctors.
