Due to the temporary impact on cash flows resulting from the pandemic, Bajaj Finserv has started a moratorium relief on all personal loan EMIs to help in easing the financial burden of borrowers. The moratorium is optional and a borrower can continue to pay the personal loan EMIs as per the designated due dates to avoid additional interest charges later. Here are some of the options available for personal loan borrowers:

  • To avoid deferment of the EMI payment of Bajaj Finserv personal loan, one should continue paying the EMIs as usual. No additional action is needed on part of the borrower here.
  • Those who want to defer the EMI payment of the Bajaj Finserv personal loan should first check the eligibility criteria. Next, one must raise a request on the NBFC’s website through the link for a moratorium. One can also send an e-mail in prescribed format to request a moratorium. Applicants must ensure to go through the eligibility criteria along with the application process before doing so.
  • Those who want a refund of the personal loan EMI already paid for your Bajaj Finserv personal loan should request the moratorium within 5 days from the date of EMI debit from their account. Next, a refund for the personal loan EMI will be initiated by the financial institution and processed within 10 working days from the date of request receipt.

Eligibility for Personal Loan EMI Moratorium

Applicants should not have more than 2 EMIs due for any loan with Bajaj Finserv. The loan must be sanctioned and availed before 1st March 2020. A moratorium is not offered on loans that are sanctioned after this date and delay in EMI payment may be reported to credit agencies impacting one’s credit score.
