1. Who can apply for a Canara Bank credit card?

A. An applicant having good credit history, preferably an account with Canara Bank and a minimum gross annual income of Rs. 1,00,000 with a verified PAN number can apply for a Canara Bank Credit Card.

2. What is the Credit period offered by Canara Bank?

A. The Bank offers an interest free credit free period ranging from a minimum of 20 days to a maximum of 50 days. However, the customers are charged for any cash withdrawal against the card or any additional chargeable services as provided by the Bank in collaboration with any outside partners.

3. What happens in case where the new Debit Card is received but the PIN is not properly legible?

A. The customer has to contact the card issuing branch immediately and request a new Debit Card to be issued. The old card has to be destroyed immediately as the bank does not preserve the PIN number so there is no possibility of reprinting the same. The customer can collect the new Debit Card as applied within 7 working days from his/her branch.

4. How many times can the PIN for the Debit Card be changed?

A. Customers can change the PIN for their Debit Card any number of times. There is no restriction in this regard.

5. What is a CVV number on the back of the Credit/Debit card?

A. The back of the card has 7 digits out of which the last three are the CVV number of the card. This number is to be quoted for any online transaction that the customer does using such a card.
