Bharatgas is one of the oldest and most trusted LPG suppliers in our country. It is a subsidiary of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). Bharatgas supplies LPG to more than 42 million households and industrial units across the country.

Bharatgas offers a range of LPG cylinders that can be used for household purposes or commercial purposes. LPG cylinders of the following weights are available with Bharatgas.

The connections for such cylinders can be easily availed by the consumers by either making an online application for the same or by directly visiting the local distributor for getting a new connection. Procedure for Bharatgas Booking

As mentioned above, customers can use either the online method or the offline method to book a new connection or obtain a refill cylinder. The details for each of such options are mentioned below.

Offline Method

The offline method of applying for a new connection or booking a refill is by contacting the nearest local distributor. The customer will have to provide certain documents along with the application form. The application form for a new connection can be sought from the distributor easily. After filling the application form and submitting it with the required documents, the customer will get a confirmation for the same and will receive a new connection at the address mentioned in the application after due verification of the documents and the premises. The customer can subsequently book a refill for the cylinder as and when needed.

Online Method

There are many options available as part of the online methods of applying for a new connection or booking a refill. These available options are discussed below.

Booking through website

Customers will have to first register at the website of Bharatgas to proceed with this option. Then the customers can log in to the website of Bharatgas using the user id and password generated at the time of registering with the website to apply for a new connection or book a refill of the cylinder. The details required for registering with the website are the name, address, mobile number and finally the OTP received at the mobile number to be submitted for authenticating the registration.

Booking through Mobile application

Bharatgas has launched a mobile application by the name ‘Bharatgas’ to provide ease in booking connections or refill or providing various other services like, providing feedback, rating the distributor, locating the distributor, etc. the users can download the application from Google Playstore or Apple Store for android phones and iphones respectively.

The prerequisite for using this application is to first register the name and the consumer number of the customer and then proceed with booking a new connection or a refill. The customers can select the desired request from the available options and can also make the payment for the same using any of the available options like net banking, credit card or debit card payment, UPI payment, etc.

Booking through IVRS

The IVRS facility of Bharatgas can be used by the consumers to book a refill for the cylinder. The customers can contact Bharatgas using the IVRS facility for such purpose at the following numbers: 7715012345 or 7718012345

The IVRS service is available 24x7 on the above numbers throughout the year. The facility is available in three languages for the benefit of the customers. The customers can select the local language or Hindi or English as per their convenience and proceed with the booking of the refill as per the guidance of the facility.

The customer will have to provide the consumer number, registered mobile number, etc. as required in booking the refill. After booking the refill, the consumer will receive an SMS confirming the same and another SMS at the time of successful delivery.

Booking through SMS

SMS Booking facility is available to the registered users of Bharatgas. This means that the customers will first have to register to avail this facility by sending an SMS from their valid and active mobile number in the following format.

The above SMS has to be sent to 57333 that is available all over India. Vodafone, Idea, Airtel, MTNL and TATA users can send the SMS to 52725. After registering, the customer can request a refill by sending a SMS LPG to 7718012345 or 7715012345. Confirmation of this request is sent via an SMS to the customer and another SMS is sent at the time of successful delivery for the same.

2. What are the added products supplied by Bharatgas?

Bharatgas provides branded hotplates and Suraksha LPG Hose as part of the added products. The charges for these products are in excess or excluding the LPG connection or refill charges.

3. What are the documents provided by the distributor at the time of new connection?

After successfully receiving a new connection, the customer will be given a Subscription Voucher (SV) and a Domestic Consumer Gas Card which has to be maintained by the customer and has to be kept safely.

4. Can a person transfer the existing LPG connection to a new place of residence?

Yes. A person can transfer his/her existing LPG connection to a new place of residence within the city or outside by obtaining a Transfer Advice (TA) or a Termination Voucher (TV) as the case may be which has to be submitted to the new distributor of the area of the new residence.
