The Hindustan Petroleum website has a customer portal for its LPG consumers that displays vital information like your distributor’s information and the emergency contact. Follow these steps to find the contact details and emergency helpline number for your area:

  • Visit the Hindustan Petroleum website. 
  • Select the product or services as LPG (HP Gas).
  • At the bottom of this page, you have the option ‘Dealer Locator/ Emergency Service (Internet)’. Click on it.
  • On this page, you will have to select the correct option for – SBU (LPG in our case), State, District and the Dealer’s name.
  • Once you select your dealer or distributor’s name, the page will display the address details, contact details and the emergency service cell number.
  • You can peruse these details to contact the relevant authority to get your issues resolved.

HP Gas Complaint Management System

HP Gas customers are welcome to register a complaint against any LPG (HP GAS) Distributorship or Retail Outlet (Petrol Pump) product or service through the online form. After filing, the status of the case may also be tracked electronically by the user.

Generally speaking, the feedback or complaints concern:

  • Any unfair / restrictive trading practice adopted by any dealer / distributor
  • Products / Services bought have price and/or quality problems
  • Overcharging for products or services

Customers can register their grievances by following these steps: 

  • On the Hindustan Petroleum homepage, click on the ‘Complaints & Feedback’ option on the top right hand side of the screen.
  • On this page, choose HP Gas Complaints
  • On the next page you have a drop down with these options – Grievance, Suggestion, Appreciation, Query. Choose the appropriate one.
  • Next you can choose if you are an HP Gas customer or not. 
  • Then you will have to fill in details like your name, address, phone number, LPG ID, distributor details and a short description of your issue.
  • Once you have filled in all the details, hit ‘Submit’. 
  • The form will be forwarded to the relevant department and you will receive a suitable solution.

Public Grievance Redressal Mechanism for HP Gas

HPCL also developed a public grievance management program through which appointed officials of the Company will be accessible every Friday from 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. at all main locations to consider and promote the settlement of complaints by the public, if any. FAQs on HP Gas Customer Care

1. Can a consumer book their HP Gas refill by any means other than by phone or in person?

Yes. Refills can be booked through IVRS, online thru website and by SMS.

  • HP Gas IVRS: Consumers can use the IVR based refill booking system that is available in various cities and states/UT with HP Anytime.
  • Online Booking: You can book your refill online at HP Gas customer portal.
  • SMS booking: Refill Booking through SMS is available for the respective areas by using the HP ANYTIME numbers given by your distributor. Consumers are sent a detailed SMS listing the booking number and date, cash memo generation and delivery confirmation.

2. Whom should I contact in case of LPG leakage during nights/holidays?

For gas leak complaints beyond working hours or on holidays, you can contact the Emergency Service Cell (ESC) operating in your area. Their contact number is mentioned on the refill cash memos.

3. If I have a complaint of feedback against my distributor, whom shall I contact?

For any feedback or grievance against your distributor, you can contact the LPG Customer Service Cell or your nearest LPG Regional Office. Additionally, you can also register your complaints on the Complaint Online External Portal or dial HP Gas Toll Free Helpline No. 1800-2333-555.

4. Are all HPCL consumers insured?

Yes. Every licensed HP Gas consumer (with appropriate SV) is protected against any accident at their designated premises due to LPG. You can avail the details at all HP Gas distributors and Customer Service Cells. In addition, HPCL has also instituted a Public Liability Insurance Policy.
