  • After filling in the details in the form, customers must submit it with the KYC documents including recent photograph, identity proof and proof of address at the distributor’s office.
  • The registration fee must be paid either via a debit card, credit card, net-banking or via cash or cheque.
  • The distributor will provide an acknowledgement and receipt once the payment is made. Post this you can begin booking your gas cylinder as needed.

After a customer has registered via the HP Gas website or by visiting a distributor’s office, he or she can apply for a gas cylinder or request a refill for the gas cylinder. HP Gas offers its customers several options to choose based on one’s convenience and need.

Online Process for Gas Booking

Customers can book their gas cylinder or a cylinder refill online. They need to simply log in to their HP Gas account using the credentials provided at the time of registration. Once logged in, they must select the “Book Your Cylinder” option. You will be redirected to a page where they can fill in the date for refill cylinder delivery. An acknowledgement is then provided along with a confirmation after the customer’s gas cylinder has been delivered.

Offline Process for Gas Booking

Via IVRS – for registered customers:

  • For customers who have registered their telephone/mobile number with HP Gas, they must call on the HP Gas IVRS number specific to their state/Union territory.
  • After dialling, they must confirm the customer number and select the appropriate option for booking a refill.
  • An order number is then assigned. This must be noted down for future reference.
  • If the call is made via a mobile number, the customer will receive an SMS that will have the order number. Customers will also receive an SMS which will have the cylinder cost.

Via IVRS – for non-registered customers:

  • If a customer has not registered his or her telephone/mobile number with HP Gas, he/she can call on the IVRS number specific to the state/Union Territory and select the language option.
  • Enter the local HP Gas distributor’s landline number (minus the STD code).
  • Enter the customer number.
  • Choose the option for gas cylinder refill.
  • Customers will be assigned a booking number, which can be noted down for future reference.
  • If a customer wishes to register the mobile number, press 1. This will be considered the default number for gas booking in future.

1. Can multiple HP gas connections be given to one household?

No, only one HP gas connection is allowed per household.

2. Can I get a PNG and LPG connection at the same time from HP gas?

Yes, you can have a PNG and LPG connection from HP gas. However, the charges will be applicable at the non-subsidised rate.
