Indane Gas cylinders are available in compact 5 kg sizes for rural, hilly and inaccessible areas, 14.2 kg size for domestic use and in 19 kg and 47.5 kg size for commercial and industrial use.
Getting a new Indane Gas connection is very easy. With the advent of technology it is further simplified to get a new Indane Gas connection via online modes like the website, through an SMS, through the IVRS or by adopting the traditional method of contacting the authorized distributor and booking a connection directly through such distributor.

About Indane Gas New Connection
The documents required to be submitted for a new Indane Gas connection are simple. All you have to do is provide some basic KYC documents. For online applications also, these documents have to be uploaded(attached) along with the application to complete the process. To book a new connection, you can either apply online or offline. Given below are the details relating to each such mode for Indane Gas new connection
Consumers can also book a new connection of Indane Gas via many online modes. These modes includes options like,
Online booking through Sahaj
Indane Gas has started the online facility to book a new gas connection known as ‘Sahaj’ (e-SV). The gas connection is issued after the online payment for the new connection and the refills.
The consumer is issued the e-SV which is an electronic subscription voucher that has the details like the number of cylinders booked by the consumer, pressure regulators held by the consumer, etc, against the security deposit paid by him/her. This document is sent to the consumer via email to his/her registered email id upon the release of online LPG connection.
Once registered, the consumer can easily book a refill for the gas cylinder via online mode of ‘Sahaj’. Following are the steps in booking a refill for the Indane Gas Cylinder
Before 8 AM
8AM to 11 AM
11 AM to 3 PM
3 PM to 6 PM
6 PM to 8 PM
Only Saturday/Sunday (8 AM to 6 PM)

e-SV initiative of Indane Gas is a scheme or a program that facilitates the consumers with the online booking, tracking and payment of Indane Gas LPG cylinders. This eliminates the need to personally visit the distributor for every query or request or for even a simple refill of the cylinder as and when required. The benefits of this program are highlighted below.
Given below is the tariff structure for any new connection of Indane Gas. All the rates mentioned are inclusive of GST.
Security Deposit for Cylinder (14.2 kg) :- in the rest of India, except North Eastern States & Security Deposit for Cylinder (14.2 kg):- in the seven North Eastern States
Security Deposit for Cylinder (5 kg)

Mechanic visit charges (other than leakage)for: Inspection of hotplates at the time of release of new connection to be done after cleaning the hotplate (in case the hotplate is not purchased from the LPG Distributor) Or Mandatory Inspection of domestic installation to be done after cleaning the hotplate(Once in Five years and charges are same irrespective of number of burner in stoves) Or Servicing of hotplate Cooking Range, Cooking Hobs and Auto-ignition hotplates

Visit & Administrative charges for release of New connection and preparation of SV at doorstep of customer (excl. statutory charges levied by State, if any) Not applicable for online connections with digital payments and connections release from Showroom

Collection of Equipment from customer premises for preparation of Termination Voucher on request of customer
Administrative charges for issuance of Domestic Gas Customer Card (DGCC) including cost of DGCC
For the customers under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY):
Installation of equipment and demonstration charges for release of new LPG connection to BPL families including Inspection of hotplates of LPG equipment
Administrative charges for issuance of Domestic Gas Customer Card (DGCC)(including cost of DGCC)
Mandatory Inspection of domestic installation to be done with cleaning the hotplate. (Once in Five years and charges are same irrespective of number of burners in stoves)
1. Can a person have multiple gas connections under the same name and address?
No. A person is not allowed to hold multiple gas connections under the same name and address.
2. What are the cancellation charges in case a person has applied and paid for a new connection online but subsequently wants to cancel the same?
There are no cancellation charges levied in such cases. The consumer will have to, however, personally go to the distributor to collect the refund of the payment made online.
3. Can the applicant check the status of his/her application?
Yes. The applicant can log in to the Indane Gas postal and check the status of their application using the user id and password.
4. What is the toll free number of Indane Gas?
The toll free number for Indian Oil is 1800 2333 555 and the emergency helpline number for LPG is 1906.
5. Can the LPG connection be transferred?
Yes, the facility to transfer the LPG connection in the name of a family member is now available. The following documents are needed for the same,
