Details of PNB Car Loan

The PNB car loans are designed to assist the retail and corporate customers in purchasing new cars or used/old cars (less than 3 year old) or even reimbursing the cost of new car purchased by the applicant out of his/her own funds (within 3 months of such purchase). The bank does not offer loans for purchase of vehicles for commercial use. Some of the details of the car loans offered by the bank are given below.

  • Eligibility – 

The bank offers car loans to individual borrowers or to business concerns for purchase of vehicles for personal use only. The bank has set minimum income criterion for such borrowers to be at least Rs. 20,000 (whether it is monthly salary/net income/pension).

The bank also allows including the income of the spouse/parents/earning children to be included to ascertain the income eligibility of the applicant provided such person is also considered as a co-applicant/co-borrower.

  • Amount of loan to be sanctioned – 

The bank has set different loan limits for individual borrowers and for business concerns. Following are the details for the same.

For individual borrowers/ proprietorship concerns – Lower of,

    Rs. 100 Lakhs,

25 times the net monthly salary/pension of the borrower.

For business concerns – The Bank has set no limit for the amount of loan that can be sanctioned to the business concerns (whether corporate or non-corporate) for purchase of single or multiple vehicles.

  • Rate of Interest – 

The bank has floating rate as well fixed rate of interest applicable on the PNB vehicle/Car loans. The final applicable rate of interest depends up on the credit score of the applicant, the banks policy or guidelines in place, relationship with the bank, etc.

The average rate of interest applicable on the car loans ranges from 8.75% to 9.20%.

Grievance Redressal

The grievance redressal process of the bank is a well-defined and systematic process detailing the information that the customers have to furnish while reporting any complaint or grievance as well as the levels of escalation hat they can use in order to get a thorough resolution for their grievance or redressal.

Following is the grievance redressal process of PNB.

  • The very first point of contact for the customers to address their grievance or issue is the Branch Manager or the customer care of the bank. Customers can submit a duly filled prescribed complaint form at the Branch and get an acknowledgement for the same. Customer care of the bank can also assist in the same.   • Level 1 –
