Complaint in Person

The customers can collect a complaint form from any branch. They can also log on to the official website of the bank and download the form under the section ‘Complaints’. While submitting the form to the branch manager, the customer should remember to get an acknowledgement receipt for his/her reference.

Punjab National Bank also has a handwritten complaint book that is available at all branches. The customer needs to contact the branch manager, record his/her grievances therein and obtain an acknowledgement receipt.

The customer can also use the complaint cum suggestion box that is kept at every branch for feedback or suggestions to improve Punjab National Bank’s products and services.

Grievance Redressal Procedure

The bank’s policy on grievance redressal follows the under noted principles:

  • Customers must be treated fairly at all times.
  • Complaints raised by customers are dealt with courtesy and on time.
  • Grievances of pensioners and senior citizens are dealt on priority.
  • Customers are fully informed of avenues to escalate their complaints/grievances within the organisation and their rights to alternative remedy, if they are not fully satisfied with the response of the bank to their complaints.
  • Bank will treat all complaints efficiently and fairly as they can damage the bank’s reputation and business if handled otherwise.
  • The bank employees would work in good faith and without prejudice to the interests of the customer.

Punjab National Bank Car Loan Features and Eligibility

Before applying for a car loan, it is prudent to check your eligibility for a car loan. This can be done by checking the bank website or by calling the punjab-national car loan customer care phone number. Depending on your income and financial background, the bank will share the car loan amount to be borrowed, the rate of interest and the loan tenure. More details on eligibility is mentioned below.

  • New Car/Van/Jeep/Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) or Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV).
  • Old car/van/jeep/MUV/SUV, which are not older than three years.

Income Criteria

Minimum net monthly salary / pension/ income - Rs.20000/-.

Income of Parent(s)/Spouse/ Earning Children can be added for determining loan amount/eligibility. However, out of above income of only one person can be added and he/she will stand as a co-borrower.

Quantum Of Finance

For individuals/Proprietorship concerns: Rs. 100 lacs or 25 times of Net Monthly Salary / Pension/ Income, whichever is lower. Loans for higher amount may be considered on merits of the case.

For Business Concerns (Corporate or Non-Corporate): No ceiling of loan amount (for one or more vehicles).

Repayment (Maximum)
  • For New Car/Van/Jeep/MUV/SUV: 84 EMIs
  • For Old Car/Van/Jeep/ MUV/SUV: 60 EMIs
  • In case of persons engaged in agriculture & allied activities: At Half yearly/yearly intervals coinciding with the time of harvest.
