Details of UCO Bank Car Loans

UCO Bank offers car loans at very competitive rates to the salaried/ non salaried individuals, NRIs, pensioners and Ex-Staff as well as farmers and agriculturists (minimum age in case of individuals 21 years and maximum 70 years at the time of maturity of the loan) and Business concerns (corporate/non corporate). These car loans are available for the purchase of new or old cars (not older than 5 years) and the bank also has a combo scheme for home loan borrowers. The Combo Car Scheme of the bank is the loan scheme in combination with the home loan of the existing borrowers having a good relationship with the bank (i.e. regular repayment of the loan for the past 2 year after moratorium period) and home loan borrowers having closed their loan except in case of takeover by other bank but not in case of those borrowers whose loans have been restructured / rescheduled during the tenure of the loan. Also the rate of interest in such loans differs from the regular car loans offered by the bank.

Grievance redressal / Feedback

The grievance redressal system/process is a well defined one detailing the various levels of escalation available to the customers as well as the time frame for resolution that is available at each stage.

  • The initial point of contact as in any case is the Branch Office or the customer care service of the bank or through the online portal available at the bank’s website via Standard Public Grievance Redressal System (SPGRS). Customers can expect a resolution within 7 days of raising their complaints.
  • If the previous level fails to provide a resolution within the stipulated time frame or of the resolution is not satisfactory, customers can raise the complaint to the Zonal Office of the bank and they can expect a response in 4 days of such escalation.
  • Further, the customers can approach the Circle Office of the bank to get redressal of their complaints if the Zonal Office fails to give any response or a satisfactory response. The circle office has to address the complaint within 4 days of receiving such grievance.
