Axis Bank specifies different Average Monthly Balance (AMB) to be maintained for different savings bank accounts based on the account type and the customer category it caters to. Following are the amounts to be maintained in savings accounts against each type.
Axis Bank savings account comes with interest rates of 3.5% p.a. for balance below Rs. 50 lakhs, which is credited on a quarterly basis. For balances above Rs. 50 lakh you earn an interest of 4% p.a.
