Once the user clicks on ‘Apply Now’, they are taken to a page to fill in their personal details and vehicle details. 2. What are the charges for FASTag?
Users have to pay a onetime fee of Rs.100 including service tax while first applying for the FASTag. The refundable security deposit depends on the vehicle type. The respective charges are available under the 'Fees and Charges' section.
3. Do I need to use any specific lane at the toll plaza for FASTag?
Yes, toll plazas have dedicated lanes demarcated for FASTag to allow for faster passage of FASTag vehicles.
4. How can I recharge my tag account?
You may recharge your TAG account online through Credit Card / Debit Card / NEFT / RTGS or through Net Banking.
5. How can I change my login ID and password?
You may not change the login ID for your account. However, the password can be updated from the “Change Password” option after logging into your account. “Change Password” button is available under the menu item.
6. Is there any minimum balance requirement for FASTag?
Yes, a particular minimum amount is necessary for every Tag depending on its vehicle class or product subscribed. If a Tag has an amount lesser than the minimum balance, it will not work and will be marked in the “Low Balance Tag” category.
7. How can I check the list of transactions on my FASTag?
Customers can access a detailed list of transactions for the associated Tags / vehicle under “Account Statement”. This list can be downloaded in excel also.
