Introduction

One of the biggest technological advancements in the banking sector has been the start of the net banking facility by almost all of the major banks of the world. This net banking facility enables the customers to carry out almost all of their banking transactions at their convenience from their homes or offices i.e. basically anytime and anywhere. It has helped the customers reduce their time that would have been spent in the bank’s branches or waiting in the long queues there and use it efficiently.

The net banking services of Yes Bank are available to all its existing customers having savings bank accounts or current accounts. This service is available free of charge to all the Yes Bank customers. The details of the bank’s net banking facility are mentioned hereunder.

Registration for Yes Bank Net banking Facility

The registration process for Yes Bank net banking facility is an extremely easy and convenient one. The customers can register for the net banking facility online or visit the nearest branch of the bank for the same. The customers can get the application for their net banking account at the nearest branch of the bank or download it from the bank’s website. They can then submit the duly filled and signed application and the net banking account will be activated within a couple of days of processing the said application.

The process of registration to the bank’s net banking can also be done online in the following manner.

  • The customer has to first visit the login page for net banking available on the bank’s website.
  • The customer at this point has to submit the Customer ID/ ATM Card/ Debit Card details along with the corresponding PIN for the same in order to authenticate the presence of the customer in the bank’s records.
  • The user will then have to set up a password for his/her net banking account according to the steps as directed on the website for the same. The password has to be strong using alpha-numeric characters which should meet the minimum required limit.

Post setting up of the password the net banking account of the user will be registered and become active. The user can then login to the net banking account using the Customer ID and the newly generated password.

Process to login to the bank’s net banking

The user can log in to the bank’s net banking facility post registering for the same according to the above process.

  • The user has to first enter the login id (User Id, which can be either of the ids used to register for the net banking account)
  • The next step is to enter the password generated while registering for net banking.
  • Then the user can click on ‘Login’ to access his/her net banking account.

In case the user has forgotten his/her user id and/or password the user can still log in to the account via the following link provided

  • Forgotten User Id – Click on ‘Forgot User Id’
  • Forgotten Password – Click on ‘Forgot Your Password/Unlock Login id’

Following are the steps to reset the password to a net banking account,

Using Debit Card

  • the user has to click on the net banking portal of Yes Banka and select ‘Forgot Password’
  • the user will next be asked the mode to reset the password where the user will have to select ‘Login Id and Debit Card)
  • Next, the details of the net banking login (Customer ID, Debit card Number along with the corresponding PIN) will be required to be entered.
  • The user will then have to enter the new password which will have to be of a minimum of 8 characters and cannot be similar to any of the previous passwords used for that particular account.
  • The user will have to enter the new password twice in order to confirm it and then use the same to login to the net banking account.

Using Credit Card

  • The customer will have to click on the bank’s net banking portal in this case too.
  • The next step will be to select the ‘Credit Card’ mode to reset the password.
  • The user will be directed to the page where he/she will have to fill in the details of login id, credit card number, and other credit card related details like date of birth, the expiry date of the credit card.
  • The user can then enter the new password twice to confirm it to be set for the net banking account.
  • This password again has to be of minimum of 8 characters in the alpha-numeric combination and cannot be similar to any of the previously used passwords for that account.

  • The bank also provides instant money transfer via IMPS 24x7 throughout the year.
  • The users can open any number of new fixed deposits or recurring deposits through the same customer id.
  • The users can also pay their utility bills or any other bills like internet charges or DTH charges, online subscriptions, donations to various trusts or national or notified funds, etc.
  • The user can also invest in the mutual funds or manage their mutual funds (add/ modify or delete their SIPs).

Informational Services 

  • The user can get access to his/her account information, view or download account statements, transaction details, update or modify their account information via net banking.
  • The customer can also view the details of their cheques issued or track the same.
  • The customers can also get the information on the various bank charges or the information related to the bank’s relationship manager, etc.

Service Requests

  • The user can easily update the information like nominee details or PAN card or Aadhaar Card details via net banking.
  • The service requests like the issue of new checkbooks, new debit cards/credit cards, loans, etc. can be easily placed through the net banking portal of the bank.
  • The customer can also download various deposit slips or Form 16A TDS Certificate and Gujarat Government VAT Challan.

The net banking facility of Yes Bank is available to all the existing customers of the bank at free of charge.

In case of joint holding of the account or conditional operation rights, the access of a user to the net banking facility is limited.

3. Are the bank’s NEFT services available all day?

Although the NEFT services of Yes Bank are available 24x7 throughout the year, it works in settlement batches. The last batch of NEFT closes at 7pm from Monday to Saturday and it remains closed on all the RBI declared holidays. Any NEFT request that is made beyond the normal transaction hours of the bank or on RBI declared holidays are processed on the following day of such request.
