It’s not possible to specify a single credit card as the card with the highest credit limit in India. This is because the credit limit sanctioned on a card depends on several factors like: gross annual income, DTI (Debt to Income) ratio, repayment history, credit score, length of credit history, and more. So, the credit limit offered by a specific card varies from one person to another.

With that said, here are some of the premium credit cards in India with high credit limits. These cards are aimed at HNIs (High Networth Individuals) and affluent customers and come with high income requirements, steep annual fees and other stringent criteria.

  • HDFC Diners Club Black Card - To be eligible for it, the applicant must have an annual income of at least Rs. 21 lakhs. Annual fees Rs. 10,000 in the first year and Rs. 5000 thereafter.
  • Citibank Prestige Credit Card - To be eligible for this card, the applicant must be a high annual spender or hold Citigold Private status. Annual fee Rs. 20,000.
  • American Express Platinum Travel Card - This card is available for applicants who spend at least Rs. 4 lakh per annum on it. Annual fees Rs. 3,500 in the first year and Rs. 5,000 thereafter.
